Day Trip to Boerne – Visiting The Hill Country Mile

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

Spring Break 2021 is fast upon us, if you’re looking for day trip ideas around San Antonio I think you’ll love Boerne. (It’s about 30 minutes away from San Antonio.)We spent the day hanging out on The Hill Country Mile. Keep reading for ideas on what to do when visiting one of the Top 25 Small Town Main Streets in America.”

We started out the day by dropping our girls over at Gina Marie’s Art Studio. This is probably the cutest little art studio you’ll ever see. Miss Gina kept the girls busy painting and Juan and I snuck away to walk down the Hill Country Mile and explore on our own.

Take a look at the upcoming art classes on Gina Marie’s Art Studio and book one for yourself or your kiddos today.

Our Day Trip Timeline

Coffee date at Black Rifle Coffee Co. The Horchata latte was delicious.

Texas Gourmet Pantry and bought local honey, caramel candy and a garlic salt rub.

Kiss the Cook. This store really has every single kitchen gadget known to man! We had fun browsing and finding interesting gadgets. I bought a beautiful teapot, wooden utensils, a whisk some and some mini quiche tins.

LaTeDa. Super girly girl store we took the kids into. Gabby, my 7 year old wanted everything. We settled on a new stuffed animal plus a scented wax warmer (smells like glittery purple, if you can imagine that) and some candy for Layla.

We also noticed a bunch of food and goods vendors set up in the park and walked through and bought cookies and plants.

And last but not least was a late lunch at Cibolo Creek Brewing Company. Patio seating, craft beers and fresh food – we loved it all.

You can see a video of the day on my Stories, just head over to Instagram.

We genuinely had a great day in Boerne. Usually whenever I plan day trips I get super excited but then the kids fight either the entire way there or you know, the entire day. Our day trip to Boerne was a day of no fighting. No arguing. No complaining. Just tons to keep us busy.

And after that week of SNOVID – we all needed a carefree, fun day.

Boerne is only 30 minutes away from San Antonio. Don’t forget to save this post (or save on IG) so you can plan your trip ASAP!
