My husband and I decided to build a home just about one year ago.
We had no idea what the process was like and while I am most grateful for our beautiful home, I do have a few regrets.

I love a good spacious and airy kitchen and I know my mother would appreciate the most. These are some great and vast options to choose from!
I love the idea of a light airy kitchen! I’m also in the kitchen a lot & I totally get why it’s important to want it to feel like such a welcoming space!
The right cabinets can totally transform a kitchen can’t they… these Wellborn ones look lovely and so many great colours too!
One spend so much time in the kitchen and you do not even realize it. It is not just for the cook, but many hours of family time with coffee, reading a paper or just chatting away. Also have to agree on the lighter color as it easy on the eyes. And yes choosing the perfect cabinets can be a tough ask but as rewarding in the end.
I hate the builder grade color of our cabinets, but we didn’t have a choice. Our previous house we had built and did the upgraded cabinets and it was so worth it. If we weren’t saving for a new house in a few years I’d be doing a cabinet overhaul in the kitchen, too.

The green is bold! I don’t think I could ever do it but I know some awesome people who would be able to rock such a bright kitchen for years. I think when we build I’ll go with black just for ease!

I would so love to have a spacious kitchen with numerous cabinets , counter space, and an island with seating. Right now we have a tiny kitchen and not nearly enough space. I like the blue accented kitchen the best!
Those cabinets are gorg! I am going to be updating mine next year since our house is nearly 70 years old and still has most of the original fixtures. Yuck. I’ll be so happy to modernize it!

Me too Becca! But painting seems like a pain in the butt…I’ll probably leave mine be and when we move into our next house really spend time looking and picking out a beautiful kitchen.
