The first time I went to see a movie at the Palladium, about 5 years ago, I was awed. Coming from a small town in Michigan, the Palladium wowed me. Visiting Casa Blanca, another Santikos theatre in San Antonio I was wowed once again. Casa Blanca theatre is classy, beauitful, fun and entertaining. This theatre is perfect for date night or family fun.
Santikos is a theatre chain in San Antonio. John Santikos, the owner decided that upon his passing he would leave the theatre chain to the community as a social enterprise. What does that mean to the moviegoer? It means that once the theatre pays off it’s employees and bills, the remaining profits go back into the community. Through the John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation an expected $12 million will be given to nonprofits in our community this year! That’s HUGE! $12 million! I love the idea that my family’s purchases at Casa Blanca Theatre are going to benefit our local community- elderly, children, medicine and arts and culture.

Casa Blanca has 16 lanes of regulation bowling, a café and full-service bar. Plus, an arcade for kids and those young at heart! You can literally make a day of going to the movie theatre by planning dinner, bowling and a movie.

I think my favorite part about Casa Blanca is the luxury seating. Huge, comfy seats, a side table and foot rest! I’m afraid my husband will fall asleep when we go. Hey–I’m afraid I might too! Casa Blanca has 2 of the biggest movie screens in Texas. ‘Cause everything is bigger in Texas, right?! 🙂 The screens are 90 feet wide. Believe me, you’ll have the ultimate movie experience. Not to mention that Casa Blanca is the first 100% laser digital projection theatre in the world! You’ll notice better picture clarity, color saturation and a three times brighter image. Talk about fancy, huh? So when you go into any Santikos theatre you’re getting the best of the best–customer experience, amenities, and picture quality.
