Here is how the movie is described by the studio: Inn “Toy Story 4,” Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So, when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy Forky (voice of Tony Hale) calls himself “trash,” Woody decides to teach Forky how to embrace being a toy. But a road-trip adventure, including an unexpected reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts), shows Woody how big the world can be for a toy. In addition, carnival prizes Ducky (voice of Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (voice of Jordan Peele) bring a new level of fun to the film.
Toy Story 4 was a huge hit with our family! For this years Trunk or Treat theme we are going with Toy Story 4 characters.
I wonder if you can guess our favorite characters?
Forky was our #1 favorite new character followed closely by Ducky and Bunny! Below we are sharing a few craft and DIY Toy Story 4 ideas.
How to Create a Pumpkin Forky
Supplies:
- white pumpkin or white paint (to paint over an orange pumpkin)
- red pipe cleaners
- construction paper – white, black and blue
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- scissors
- Cut out large oval shaped eyes out of the white paper
- Cut out black circles (for the pupils)
- Create the eyebrow out of a red pipe cleaner
- Create the arms out of 2 red pipe cleaners
- Cut out a mouth out of blue construction paper (FYI – we didn’t have the blue I wanted so I used paint)
- Using the hot glue gun attach all of your pieces
How to Create Ducky and Bunny
Supplies:
- paper plates
- yellow paint
- blue paint
- foam paint brushes
- white and black paper
- googly eyes (or you can make them with paper)
- yellow feathers
- orange and green construction paper
Directions
- Paint each plate blue and yellow and let dry. We used a small amount of paint on each plate.
- While your plate is drying create the eyes, nose and arm and leg shapes and the bunny ears
- Using hot glue or regular glue attach the features and the feathers for Ducky
I love how cute the projects turned out. We had fun bringing the Toy Story 4 characters to life!
Toy Story 4 Trunk or Treat Theme
After our crafts were created we rounded up our supplies and decorated for Trunk or Treat. How cute is our Forky pumpkin?
Putting together the Toy Story 4 themed trunk or treat was easy once the crafting was finished.
We used:
- Table and tablecloth
- Table top Tent from Oriental Trading
- Popcorn container and lots of candy
- cloud backdrop
- DIY banner – we hung our bunny and ducky crafts on twine and made a paper chain link to hide the twine
I hope you enjoyed our Toy Story 4 crafts and Trunk or Treat decor. Who was your favorite character from Toy Story 4? Let us know in the comments!
