PurpleTrail Planner Review

I received a complimentary planner in exchange for an honest review. I loved the planner so much that I signed up to be an affiliate. This means if you decide to purchase through my links I make a small commission. Thank you!

If you’re a busy person you probably have a long to-do list.

Ever think about everything you have to do or things you need to buy but, forget to write anything down?

I hate  when I forget to write out my to-do list because I always forget something important.

Once, I went grocery shopping, no list, and forgot to buy any meat for the week. Crazy, right?

Which is why I’m such a big planner person. I love using planners to plan meals, blog work, events and holidays. Planners keep me organized and allow me to be creative. (I used to be really into scrapbooking.)

I’ve talked about 2 other planners the last couple years and today I’m sharing my new 2018 planner from PurpleTrail Planner.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE SET UP

Every month is divided by laminated tabs. The first page of each month has room for birthdays, events and things to remember.

Following that month’s title page is a 2 page spread showing the monthly view.

(I want you to know how customizable PurpleTrail Planner’s are. They have tons of styles, you can add your name and favorite quotes with the personalize tool. You can choose vertical or horizontal layouts for your week.)

I chose the horizontal layout for each week. For 2017, I used a vertical, time blocking layout and while it served it’s purpose for most of the year I find myself needing more space.

I added a bill tracker, grid pages and notes section towards the back of the planner. My sister uses an online bill tracking system and I just can’t get the hang of an online system.

I need to see the bills, due date and any notes written down on paper. That’s just the way my brain works, so, I really love that I could include a bill tracker in my new planner.

FEATURES:

  • personalized cover
  • thick, 80lb paper inside
  • you can choose the start month and layout
  • durable dividers for each month
  • aluminum coil binding
  • built for long term use – it feels VERY sturdy.

MY THOUGHTS

There are so many customizable cover options. I bet you’ll find it hard to choose just one.

This new planner is bigger than my current planner. The quality of the paper is a step up and I don’t mind that it’s bigger because the planner feels very sturdy.

There is a page of stickers in the back of my planner and you can order more if you’d like. The stickers are super cute and I’m hoping to use stickers and color pencils in 2018 to bring more of my own personality and creativity into my planner.

PurpleTrail Planner has planners available that are customized for moms! You can even add family member names to the layout pages. How cool is that?
