Holiday magic comes to life at Old West Christmas Light Fest with light displays and twinkling fun throughout an Old West town brimming with lights, music, games, activities and flavor at Enchanted Springs Ranch, 242 State Hwy 46 W in Boerne. Experience holiday glow and some of the best Christmas lights in the San Antonio area in a true Texas setting with Santa and his Holly Jolly Herd of longhorns ready to pull his sleigh across Texas. Delight in a synchronized light show set to music, play laser tag in the lights, escape holiday stress with family fun in the Old West’s Christmas Escape Rooms and snap sweet pictures in Candyland. Dates: The 2019 event is open 6-10 p.m., Thanksgiving night through Christmas night. The event runs Thursday through Sunday evenings until Sunday, Dec. 15, as well as EVERY night Dec. 19 – 25, including Christmas Eve and Christmas night.
All New for 2019: The light show everyone loves, Hinojosa Family Lights, has taken over the ranch! Come see the magic they’ve built this year featuring Christmas classics and some surprise songs that will be fun for everyone in a synchronized Old West Light Show. The show is included in admission to Old West Christmas Light Fest and runs continuously. Escape holiday stress in one of the Old West’s Christmas Escape Rooms. With two holiday-themed rooms, everyone can make Christmas memories trying to beat the clock and escape with their friends and family. Or save Christmas by playing Laser Tag in the Lights, electronically defending holiday fun with your friends as you’re surrounded by the glow of thousands of Christmas lights. Even sweeter: step into a Candyland Instagram room and snap share-worthy shots all season long, or make time to become a cookie master by taking a cookie decorating class on select nights in the Old West. And if you’re looking for love, come out for “Romance Under the Lights”, two special nights of romance at the Old West on Dec. 8 and 15, with a host of local romance writers greeting fans and getting in on the holiday fun. Escape holiday stress by playing in one of the Old West’s Escape Rooms, navigate your way through a light maze, go on a scavenger hunt, learn holiday cookie decorating from a master or enjoy time with friends as you kick back over a cold one (or hot chocolate!) and listen to holiday tunes. Fill your holiday gift list by shopping the Old West merchants and fill your belly with flavors from a variety of food trucks on site each night. No matter what you choose, a night at Old West Christmas Light Fest is one to remember. Every night features music, with beer and wine at the bar and hot cocoa and s’mores by the campfire. Santa is at his favorite ranch to hear holiday wishes through Christmas Eve and photos with Santa are free.
Tickets: Tickets are $15 per person ages six and older. Children five and under are free. Family 5-packs are available for $60. Members of the military (active duty, guard, reserves and all retired service members) as well as first responders and their immediate families receive a $5 discount. If you want to experience the glow of the lights throughout the holidays, purchase a season pass for $45 per person and enjoy the fun all season long. Onsite parking is included.
