The holidays are here and I’m slowly adding simple and fun decor around the house. I have been trying to get rid of clutter around the house since like forever. But, I also love Christmas and decorating – it’s a real struggle to NOT buy every decor item I see!

I recently bought an over the toilet shelf and I wanted to add easy Christmas bathroom decor. I bought the shelf to add more storage space in bathroom. I don’t have much room to store toilet paper and other items we use frequently.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR EASY CHRISTMAS BATHROOM DECOR

Shop your own decor first! Before heading out to the store I grabbed a few decor items I already had and knew would work great in the bathroom.

Make it functional. I’m all about less is more. I wanted the decor to look nice, but I also wanted the space to be functional. I knew I needed space for my bath candles, hand towels, a spot for toilet paper and a little bit of room for decor.

Measure your space. I ended up buying a basket which was too big for my shelf. I wish I would have measured my space first.

For this easy Christmas bathroom decor I bought:

I already had: the believe sign, the metal basket and my hand towels.

I shopped at my local Family Dollar and grabbed Scott Comfort Plus because it’s the new and improved version of Scott Extra Soft. It’s tested for strength and comfort and is actually preferred over Angel Soft because it’s soft, strong, thick, absorbent and clog free! I found it in the home care aisle.

Since we’re at that time of the year again: lots of parties, hosting, tons of food, lots of guests, and of course, lots of toilet paper needed to deal with all of it.

It’s the best time to stock up on toilet paper!

Take advantage of the Family Dollar circular offer for Scott® ComfortPlus™ Toilet Paper 12 CT Big Roll only $4.00 at Family Dollar (Regular retail price is $5) from 12/4 – 12/10.

I love the holiday decor in my bathroom and how easy it was to put together. Isn’t the metal basket perfect for the toilet paper?
