Boo!
This year I wanted to do a fun Halloween Party for my kids but didn’t have so much time to plan and prep. I ended up planning a Halloween party with a simple menu: pizza, juice and Halloween Bark Candy!
What we ended up doing is eating lunch at Chick-fil-A, then coming home to do our party activities. It was a little more expensive that way and not what I planned but after eating at Chick-fil-A early morning no one wanted lunch.
The Activities
#1
I found the cutest Halloween Bingo Board for free here. She’s even got some Bingo boards for Thanksgiving and Christmas so don’t forget to head over there and check her site out. I cut out the individual boards and the caller’s pieces. This game is super easy and I had the 2 yr olds playing and the 9 yr olds they all loved it. We used candy corn as Bingo chips. For Thanksgiving Bingo I am cutting out the boards and taking them to Staples to be laminated.
#2
We painted small pumpkins, I made sure to go out and buy one for each kid that I knew was coming. We used washable paint and spread a tarp over my kitchen table. The kids made a mess but they had fun! Here’s my favorite pumpkin which Layla painted and here’s the one I painted, it’s Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas!
The Prizes
I kept the prizes super simple this year. I found cute monster soda cans and a variety of candy. My kids don’t regularly get soda so they were super happy to see it was a prize! I made a small gift basket out of these Halloween containers I found at Walmart, I filled them with candy and one small soda. Those were the prizes for the big game of Bingo and I made sure I had one for each kid, so they are got to win their special prize. For the rest of the Bingo games they won candy and they each won a Pez candy thingy.
I can’t resist adding in the pic of my beautiful little Minnie Mouse! We had a great Halloween this year and looking forward to playing games and eating candy at our next Halloween Party. I was really happy that the activities we did were enough to keep the 2 yr olds happy and the older kids entertained. And guess what, I made some delicious Halloween Bark Candy, and we forgot to eat it!!
