A few weeks ago we attended a preview event for a new restaurant in San Antonio, called Tacoart.
The restaurant is locally owned and operated by Adriana Llano and all the dishes on the menu are authentic, with some being family recipes from Mexico City.
What I liked about Tacoart
We didn’t take our kids to this event but I couldn’t help but notice how kid-friendly this place is. The table is covered in brown paper and crayons are at the tables for kids to color. There’s also a chalkboard wall kids can use and a sensory table outside. The sensory table is SUPER cool. I was playing with it!
I tried the Llano Taco, chipotle marinated chicken with cabbage and potato, topped with cilantro. Oh my goodness—LOVED those tacos!
Tacoart is in the Quarry, at 290 E. Basse Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209. Stop in for a date night or bring the kids with you for a fun, family meal!
We don’t get very many date nights so we totally took advantage of the night and had fun! We even met up with a good friend who also blogs. Marisa from Meximoments!
It’s great to connect with people online and then discover you would make great friends in real life too! 😉
