It’s Christmastime and I love baking and making treats for others. While shopping at HEB the other day I came across this idea for Rolo pretzels. I thought they would make a great combination of salty, crunchy and sweet!
Yes, I was was right. These are awesome and addicting. They are also super easy to make and a great “baking” project to do with kids.
I whipped up a batch of these and sent them over to my parent’s home so I wouldn’t be tempted to eat them all up! I think these would make a yummy and easy co-worker or neighbor gift when put inside a cute Christmas tin or ziploc baggie.
Rolo Pretzels
You need:
1 bag of Rolo candies
1 bag mini pretzels
Foil or Parchment Paper
Baking sheet
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Set up your pretzels on your baking sheet that you covered with foil or parchment paper
Add a Rolo candy on top each pretzel
Bake for 3-4 minutes and take out. You want the candy just starting to melt, not fully melted.
Top with another pretzel and let cool! I placed my cookie sheet in the fridge for a faster cooler time. I bet you’ll try one while it’s hot though. I couldn’t resist!
