Growing up in a small town in Michigan, St. Patrick’s Day was a BIG deal. Our town had a huge parade, the bars served green beer, and we did fun crafts at school.
Pretty much everyone dressed up, didn’t matter if you were Irish or not, you celebrated! There was such a sense of community and fun. I love the memories of watching the decorated floats, the painted faces and the green outlandish outfits everywhere!
You know I love doing fun things with my kids, I’ve written about it here, here and here. So, I decided to look up fun things we could do for St. Patrick’s Day and here are the best and easiest ideas I found.
You’re welcome 😉
Have Fun With Your Kids On St. Patrick’s Day
I found this fun looking play dough over at My List of Lists. This will probably end up ALL over my house but I’m still going to make it. My little one (and the bigger kids too) loves playing with play dough.
I just love this! Bonus —The Tickled Peach Studio gives us the printable for free. Imagine how your kids will feel when they get this little gift.
How about this printable St. Patrick’s Day Word Search?
This is probably the simplest St. Patrick’s Day dessert ever. And the best thing is I actually have a box of pistachio pudding in my pantry!
And last but not least, this fun Rainbow Chain craft.
Do you like to do fun crafts or silly celebrations with your kids?
I really do!
I feel like it’s not about the amount of money I spend on them but the time I put into creating memories.
