We had the opportunity to visit iFLY in San Antonio for free in exchange for this blog post. Cool huh?! You can start your own blog, it’s easy–here’s how!
iFLY offers an indoor skydiving experience for people of all ages in safe and reliable environment. Have you ever wanted to experience flying but without the jumping out of the plane -probably having a heart attack kind of feeling?
I have! And I’m the first to admit it—I’m a big chicken. I get sick on roller coasters. I can’t do the rides at carnivals. I can’t get on a merry-go-round. I get too dizzy.
Can you imagine me jumping out of an airplane?
What I like about iFly is that you can get the same kind of free-flying feeling (say that three times fast) without worrying if your life insurance is in order first. 😉
Plus, I can let my kids fly at iFly without being scared for their safety. Win-win!
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Arriving at iFly you need to check in and sign the waiver or save time and sign online before you go. Next, you’ll be whisked away to get your jump suit on and hear some pointers from your trainer.
Now, my kids came in flip-flops. Why? I have no idea.
But iFly is totally prepared for us Texans and our flip-flop obsession. They have shoes you can wear, no worries!
IS IT WORTH IT?
Yes. It really is. If I could afford to take my kids there on a regular basis I really would. (We are paying off credit cards like crazy right now because we want to buy a house by the end of the year!)
The smile on my son’s face as he flew was priceless.
It was one of those “this is awesome-amazing-everything cool-can’t wait to tell all my friends” kind of smile. And it made my heart happy.
iFly is definitely on my kids’ list for places they want a gift card to.
CHECK THEM OUT
iFly is located at 15915 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT INDOOR SKYDIVING?
When we go back I want to try it! I’m even thinking of treating my husband to a date night there, just me and him.
WOULD YOU TRY IT?
Let me know in the comments 🙂
