Hello! Thank you so much for purchasing 45 Easy Meal Ideas. I created this “cheat sheet” to make things easier for YOU!

Each week pick just a few ideas and buy enough food to make breakfast easy for the week. You don’t have to plan something different for each day. Breakfast in our house is usually instant oats or overnight oats + fruit. That is our go-to and I’m fine with it!

Be sure to make things easy on yourself and check your fridge and pantry before adding ingredients to your shopping list.

Instant Foods

This category probably  has the simplest. Pick up packages of food (instant oats, cereal or grits) and serve with a side of fruit.

Toast

Another simple breakfast category. You’ll need avocados, bread, eggs, peanut butter, bananas, butter, jelly in your fridge and pantry to make the toast ideas.

  • Avocado toast (add a fried egg on top if you want)
  • French toast
  • Peanut butter banana toast
  • Butter & jelly toast

Batch Cooking Ideas

  • Pancakes – I use the “just add water” box
  • Muffins – you can find box mixes or smaller packages of blueberry and other varieties at Walmart
  • Waffles – again use the same box as your pancake mix
  • Biscuits & Gravy – Here’s an easy recipe for you to try. For planning sake here are the ingredients (you can click to the recipe on the day you’re cooking this)
      • 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated jumbo buttermilk biscuits
1 (9.6 ounce) package Jimmy Dean® Original Hearty Pork Sausage Crumbles
        ¼ cup flour
        2 ½ cups milk
1 pinch Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Weekend Mornings

I like cooking on weekend mornings and trying new recipes. This is also a great time to make extra or batch cook to prep for the next week.
