Falling Short

I am definitely not even near my goal for December. I had hoped to have over 20 posts by Dec 1 and start promoting my blog on facebook and Pinterest.  It’s almost Thanksgiving and my last post was at the beginning of November! I need some accountability over here! Giving myself a little grace, I look back and see I have been busy.

Halloween we had a tiny, Halloween Lunch Party! The kids loved it! I kept it super simple so I could enjoy my time with the kids and have fun too. You can check out the super easy party details over here.

I also helped my sister-in-law start up a blog, how exciting! You can visit her at Lebeautyfoodie.com she is amazing at cooking ethnic foods and has so many recipes I want to try! She made her lentil soup for us and it was delicious, filling and very frugal to make!

Right after Halloween, my younger sister Alyssa and I drove out to El Paso, TX to visit our sister Hope. Wow, really long drive because we stopped like 6 times.

After El Paso, my husband and I flew to Spokane, Washington to spend the weekend with my sister Monica (she blogs over at amotherlovingmess.com) her husband Austin and their five boys! First of all, all you people who live in Washington–I’m jealous!! It’s beautiful up there and we have some amazing pictures that I’ll be posting soon!

I taught myself how to crochet and made my very first scarf! The crochet part is easy once you get the hang of it. Learn how here.

Looking back at this month I am so blessed to have been able to spend so much time with my sisters. Thanksgiving is a week away and we’ll be headed back to El Paso. Afterwards, I think I’ll be done traveling for a while and spend my time getting ready for Christmas!
