The holiday season means tons of road trips for our family. Today we’re sharing our favorite snacks to pack that are simple, not messy, and delicious!

Simple Road Trip Snack Ideas

Our family used to make the 8 hour trip to El Paso and we’d spend a lot of money on gas station snacks. There is something about a road trip that makes me crave crunchy, salty snacks!

To cut down on the gas station spending we prepped some of our snacks at home this year.

I like to keep things super simple around here so I paired Sensible Portions® Garden Veggie Straws with raisins and banana chips. This combo gives us a sweet, salty and crunchy treat with less mess.

I found these meal prep containers that were perfect for snack boxes I like the three compartments and how I can separate snacks. Plus the lids snap on well (I want to prevent mess in the car) and the kids like having their own snack boxes.

Veggie Straws are NON-GMO, organic, with no artificial flavors or preservatives. Veggie Straws also have 30% less fat than chips and have no trans fat or cholesterol.

You can find Veggie Straws at Walmart in the healthy snacks aisle, it’s right next to the chip aisle.

We’re excited for our next road trip with these snack boxes. My kids love Veggie Straws and not gonna lie so do I!
